BSO "Het Honk" is part of the Christian Child Centre Het Borghonk, located at De Hokhorst 4 in Renswoude. We provide before-school, after-school and holiday care for children aged 4 to 12 in a single group with a maximum of 26 places. Our qualified staff take the children to school in the morning and pick them up afterwards; all primary schools within Renswoude are served. Before-school care starts at 7:30 a.m. and after-school care is available from 12:00 p.m. or 2:30/3:00 p.m., depending on your child’s schedule. During school holidays you can opt for a package that includes holiday care; individual holiday days can also be booked if group size permits and your child is a regular BSO user. We operate from a Christian perspective in which norms and values are central. Every afternoon we aim to create a cosy and challenging environment where children can express themselves. We regularly organise arts-and-crafts sessions, sports and games, and provide various play corners such as cars, dolls, a kitchen corner and a quiet reading area. This variety stimulates each child’s creative, motor and social development in a playful way. Parents interested in our care can make an appointment for a tour by phone. After an introductory visit and a positive decision you can complete the application form; your child will then be placed on our waiting list. As soon as a place becomes available we will contact you to set a definite start date and arrange an introductory moment for your child.
