Het Avontuur

BSO Het Avontuur is located right next to Het Nieuwland playground at Steffensweg 1 in Almelo. Our home is in the building that belongs to the playground, so we can use a spacious playroom every day as well as the adventurous outdoor area. Children run, climb, slide and explore to their heart’s content. We work together with De Riet, the neighbourhood primary school. This partnership enriches our activity programme and ensures that children from the neighbourhood continue to meet each other outside school hours. Our pedagogical staff personally pick up the youngest children from school; older children come on foot or by bike. If the distance is too great, we arrange safe transport by car, minibus or taxi. During school weeks we offer peace and space to recover from a long school day, interspersed with sports and games in the playground. During school holidays there is a cheerful holiday programme: sometimes centred around a sparkling theme, other times with fun outings. There is always room for children’s own input and free play. Our doors are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We have room for a maximum of 41 children. Florian Hoen is our location manager and, together with his team, provides familiar faces that greet your child with a smile every day. At Het Avontuur we love children and we make every effort to give your child a day you will never tire of talking about.
