Thema BSO het Avontuur

BSO Het Avontuur is located right inside Museumpark Archeon at Archeonlaan 1, Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of Junis Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children from 7 years of age who can travel to us independently and hold an A-level swimming certificate. The setting is literally surrounded by Roman and Medieval history, so every afternoon feels like a journey through time. Our qualified staff pick children up on foot from nearby primary schools. For schools farther away we use our own bicycle buses or a contracted taxi service, always coordinating pick-up points and informing teachers so every child arrives safely. Our programme is built around the theme “past and present”. Children learn to make fire, fish, shoot with bow and arrow, and join in disco afternoons or football matches. There is also plenty of time to relax or get creative indoors. Together we look after our resident cat, who roams freely and adds extra warmth to the group. During school weeks we are open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:30 (Wednesday and Friday from 12:00/12:30). In holiday periods we offer full-day care from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents can book extra days through the parent portal or add a holiday card to their contract.
