Hestia Amstelland

Welcome to Hestia Amstelland After-School Care, located at Laan van de Helende Meesters 4 in Amstelveen. Our after-school care is part of Hestia Childcare, an international community of staff, children and parents working together on children's development. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 8 years. Our team consists of permanent staff who work with great love and attention on your child's development. We follow the Hestia Way, a pedagogical approach inspired by the insights of Reggio Emilia, Maria Montessori and Rudolf Steiner. This approach focuses on stimulating children's natural curiosity and providing space for free development. Our location offers a safe and challenging environment where children can play, discover and learn. We have a garden where children can play outside to their heart's content and connect with nature. The activities are tailored to the age and development of the children, working with themes that connect to their world of experience. As an international community, we find it important that children are exposed to different languages and cultures. We therefore work in both Dutch and English, allowing children to become acquainted with multilingualism in a playful way. Our goal is to provide a second home where children feel safe and secure, where they can relax after a school day and where they can discover and learn new things.
