BSO Helen Parkhurst

Welcome to BSO Helen Parkhurst, located in the modern Dalton Child Centre at Baambruggestraat 2 in The Hague. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a safe, welcoming and educational environment. As part of Gro-up, we work closely with Daltonschool Helen Parkhurst and De Ark, ensuring smooth transitions between school and childcare. Our location offers excellent facilities. Children can exercise and play in our small gym, get creative in the kitchen with cooking activities, and learn through play with the interactive movement floor in the auditorium. Our spacious outdoor area has a green character and borders football cages and sports fields that we regularly use for activities. We start each day with a joint group. Where possible, we make age divisions, but our group composition remains flexible. Together with the children, we plan daily fun activities. During school holidays, we work around one central theme with varied activities, trips to the beach or park, and sometimes collaborate with other Gro-up BSO locations for even bigger adventures. Healthy nutrition is important to us. We follow guidelines for healthy food and limit fat, salt, sugars and artificial additives to a minimum. Parents use the KidsAdmin app for registrations, illness reporting and extra care requests. Our BSO is open from the earliest school end time until 7:00 PM. During study days and holidays, we operate from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We are open 52 weeks a year, excluding official public holidays.
