Welcome to Helden Opvang Broekzijdselaan, our after-school care (BSO) located in the heart of Abcoude. We are situated in the beautifully renovated Piusschool at Broekzijdselaan 3. This central location provides us with spacious, bright areas that we have decorated entirely in our signature Scandinavian style. With a cozy, homely kitchen and a challenging outdoor playground, we create a place where children aged 4 to 12 feel completely at home. Our BSO is more than just after-school care. We believe in the power of being outdoors and making real discoveries. That is why we collaborate with an educational farm nearby. Our children regularly visit to learn about nature, animals, and where our food comes from. This aligns perfectly with our vision: respect for people, animals, and the world around us. The Piusschool has recently been fully renovated and offers us modern, bright spaces where children can grow through play. We provide care for up to 44 children and are open on school days. Our experienced pedagogical staff are ready to offer the children a safe and stimulating environment in which they can explore and develop their own interests.
