Welcome to the Helden Club of Helden Opvang at Amsterdamsestraatweg 55A in Baarn. Our after-school care is located in a beautiful building on the grounds of Villa Buitenzorg, right on the edge of the forest and within walking distance of Hoeve Ravenstein farm. We don't offer standard after-school care, but an adventurous place where children aged 4 to 12 are challenged to move, discover and grow. Our Helden Club was created from the belief that children need more than just after-school care. We believe in the power of being outdoors, sports and movement, creativity and nature experiences. Daily, children go into the forest to build huts, go on discovery tours or participate in sports and games activities. Our own challenging outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities to climb, build and work together. The collaboration with care farm Hoeve Ravenstein makes our location unique. We regularly visit the animals and the vegetable garden, where children learn about nature, seasons and healthy food in a playful way. Our pedagogical staff guide children in discovering their talents and developing new skills. The atmospheric interior in Scandinavian style radiates peace and warmth. Inside, different play areas are set up where children can choose what appeals to them - from reading in our book corner to cooking in our children's kitchen café or being creative in the craft studio. Every day is different, because children's own input is central to us. Our Helden Club is for children who want to move, discover, build, climb, cook, be creative and especially have lots of fun. Together we create new adventures every day!
