BSO Hedel

BSO Hedel is part of Stichting Christelijke Kinderopvang Bommelerwaard (SCKB) and is located inside primary school De Zaaier at Kerkstraat 6 in Hedel. We provide after-school care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm. After lessons end, the children are collected from their own classroom and welcomed into a familiar setting where relaxation and fun come first. We regard the time children spend with us as ‘free time’. Therefore, participation in organised activities is never compulsory; it is simply an invitation. After a quiet moment with fruit and a drink, each child decides for themselves: free play, outdoor play when the weather is nice, or joining an enjoyable activity. We tailor our offer to the child’s age and give ample room for personal needs. Our pedagogical staff are the same familiar faces every day; every child has a personal mentor who is the trusted point of contact for both child and parent. In this way we provide a secure base in which every child feels seen and valued. During school holidays the BSO is closed, allowing our team to recharge as well. In short, BSO Hedel is the place where school children can unwind after a busy school day, meet friends and play and discover at their own pace.
