Buitenschoolse opvang Happykidzzz in Tolbert is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Hoofdstraat 23. We provide care for up to 12 school-age children between 4 and 12 years old. Our team of qualified, permanent pedagogical staff creates a familiar environment where children feel safe and at home every day. We pick up children from school and offer them a varied activity program. Our BSO works with the Doenkids! activity program, which challenges children to discover and develop their talents. Sports and physical activity play an important role: when weather permits, we play outside every day, and we employ sports instructors who get children excited about movement and challenge them with new materials and activities. In addition to our regular activities, we periodically offer supplementary sports and activity programs such as skiing lessons, horseback riding, or guitar lessons. These activities are provided by external instructors and allow children to try new things at a small cost. For external activities, we provide free transportation. Our BSO is open 52 weeks per year. During school weeks, we are open from 1:45 PM to 6:30 PM on long school days and from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM on short school days. During school holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We work with a fixed daily schedule that provides children with structure and calm, while always allowing room for their own initiative and freedom of choice.
