BSO Haarzicht

BSO Haarzicht is part of Kindcentrum Haarzicht, a modern integrated child centre in the new Haarzicht neighbourhood in Vleuten. Our after-school care is located within public primary school Haarzicht and welcomes up to 106 children aged 4 to 13. We share a spacious outdoor playground with the school, where children can run, cycle, play football and climb. Indoors we have a play room and access to a large gym for workshops or rainy-day activities. Each afternoon starts with a joint welcome moment, followed by a workshop or a relaxed fruit snack. During this time our pedagogical staff take the opportunity to hear about the children’s school day. We offer themed workshops that children can sign up for, covering sports and movement, creative activities, drama, nature and technology. Older children are encouraged to contribute their own ideas. During school holidays and study days we are open all day from 7:30 to 18:30. We organise themed programmes, excursions and workshops. Healthy eating and an active lifestyle are important to us: we provide healthy food and drinks and offer a daily physical activity. Parents stay informed through the Social Schools app, which also makes communication with our team easy. We work closely with parents to create a safe and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
