BSO Grou Voetbalkantine

Welcome to BSO de Voetbalkantine in Grou! We are located in a real sports canteen at Burstumerdyk 2a and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our unique setting – right in the heart of the football world – gives our BSO a sporty and energetic vibe you won’t find anywhere else. We collect the children every school day from OBS De Twa Fisken and CBS Nijdjip. Our pedagogical staff wait at the school gate with a check-in list, after which we drive to the football canteen in our minibuses. The ride itself is already a party: singing, chatting and looking forward to an afternoon full of movement and adventure. Inside we have a cosy corner, doll corner, construction corner, arts & crafts table and various play areas with rugs. We share the sanitary facilities with the football club, which are spacious and child-friendly. Outside is our pride: a large artificial grass pitch, a panna cage, a grass field with playhouse, sandbox, horizontal bars and balance beam. Every day there is plenty of room for free play, sports and games, crafts, baking projects and fun outings. We do not swim in open water, but regularly organise activities such as walks and treasure hunts in the area. Our pedagogical policy is built on four core goals: personal competences, social-emotional safety, social skills and norms & values. We work with fixed mentors so that every child has a familiar face who closely follows their development. We eat healthy and sociable meals together; fruit and drinks are included. We celebrate birthdays and holidays and pay attention to events that are important to children. BSO de Voetbalkantine is a place where children feel safe, seen and valued.
