Green childcare 't Werkel is a sustainable and organic childcare facility located in the Stadshagen district of Zwolle. As part of Eigen&Wijzer, we provide after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location at Dijkgraafhof 1 is specially designed to accommodate children after school hours in a green, natural environment. Everything we do revolves around discovering nature. Over 80% of our activities take place outdoors. Every day, children go on adventures in our adventurous outdoor space and in the surrounding area. We believe that children develop best by playing, discovering and learning in nature. Our pedagogical staff guide children towards independence and encourage them to think problem-solving. Our vision 'Every child is unique and grows wiser' forms the basis of our approach. We work with small-scale groups, allowing us to provide plenty of personal attention. Children have the space to be themselves and grow at their own pace. We offer a warm and safe environment where having fun is central. As certified green childcare, we work according to sustainable principles. We use organic products wherever possible and pay great attention to environmentally conscious behavior. Children not only learn about nature through play, but also about the importance of sustainability and respect for our environment.
