BSO Het Palet

Welcome to BSO Het Palet, a warm and familiar place located within Kindcentrum Het Palet at Marsgeel 18 in Zoetermeer. We are a compact after-school care facility with three groups designed especially for children aged 4 to 8. Because everyone knows each other, the atmosphere feels like a second home where your child quickly feels at ease. Our spacious group rooms are calmly arranged and all materials are placed at child height, so your child can choose what to do. Large wooden blocks, dress-up clothes, musical instruments, a construction corner, a home corner and building materials are ready for use. When your child wants to relax, there is a reading corner with a bookcase and comfortable sofa. For creative outbursts clay, paint and coloured paper are within reach. Cooking and baking are also part of our regular offer; delightful smells often fill the room. Whenever the weather allows, we head outside. Our own outdoor area invites running, playing, making sand pies and using the slide. The large square offers plenty of space for sports and games; balls and chalk are always available. In addition, we organise annual activities around Mud Day, Children’s Book Week and World Water Day. During school holidays we work around a theme and offer a varied daily programme full of movement, cooking/baking, creativity and imagination. We also love to take trips to another BSO or a large playground. Because we are located in the same building as primary school Het Palet, the transition from school to after-school care is literally just a few steps. Our pedagogical staff consult with the teachers daily, so we are well informed about what is going on in your child’s life.
