Atalenta BSO Grasspriet

BSO Grasspriet is located on the ground floor of primary school De Grasspriet at Van de Venstraat 9 in Valkenswaard. We are a small-scale after-school care facility with a maximum of 22 children per day. This limited size creates a calm, clear and homely atmosphere in which every child quickly feels at home. Our space is literally under one roof with the school, making the transition from the school day to after-school care smooth and familiar. Children can come to us immediately after school and do not have to travel far. The cooperation with primary school De Grasspriet and primary school De Smelen is intensive; we pick up children from both schools so that they can travel to the BSO safely and together. At BSO Grasspriet, freedom of choice is central. Children are allowed to decide for themselves what they want to do: play, do crafts, romp outside or just relax with a book. Our pedagogical staff provide calm and rhythm, so that every child can develop at his or her own pace. We work with a fixed core of professionals who know the children well and sense exactly what they need. Healthy care is a matter of course for us. We provide healthy snacks and encourage outdoor play. The school garden is available and invites movement and discovery. We also regularly organise theme activities that connect with the children's world of experience, without the programme becoming overcrowded. In short, BSO Grasspriet is a familiar, small place where children can be who they are after school. We offer a warm nest, clear structure and plenty of room for personal initiative.
