BSO Gerardus Majella

BSO Gerardus Majella is a small-scale after-school care facility located on the premises of primary school Gerardus Majella at Hei-Grindelweg 88 in Heerlen. The location provides care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. We are part of Humankind, a national organization active in care and welfare for over 100 years, and officially registered as a childcare organization since March 25, 2024. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:30, Wednesday from 12:00 to 18:30 and Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. The care takes place in a familiar and safe environment, utilizing the facilities of the primary school. Children can play, relax and develop here after a day at school. We offer a quiet place where there is room for own initiative and creativity, aligned with the child's world of experience. As a BSO, we work closely with primary school Gerardus Majella. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition from school to after-school care and a familiar environment for the children. We are rooted in the community and find it important that children feel safe and at home with us. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and provide a warm and stable environment in which each child can develop in his or her own way.
