Fris! kinderdagverblijven Zonnewende de Ravelijn BSO (Buitenschoolse opvang)

Welcome to BSO Ravelijn, our after-school care centre at Ravelijn 382 in Apeldoorn. We are part of Fris! Kinderopvang, the organisation that started as the very first Dalton day-care centre in the Netherlands. This rich heritage is reflected every day in our homely setting where primary-school children aged 4 to 13 feel safe, challenged and completely at home. The afternoon begins as soon as school ends. Our pedagogical staff collect the children personally and bring them to our bright, spacious group room that looks out onto an exciting outdoor area. There, children decide for themselves how they want to spend their free time: join the sports and games circuit, get creative with crafts, drama or music, or simply romp around in the garden. We regularly organise workshops and excursions – think nature outings, sports clinics or creative afternoons – for which children can sign up in advance. This way they look forward to their next BSO day for days on end. Our Dalton roots are visible in everything we do. We teach children to make choices, take responsibility and help one another. Together we set the table, make crackers, tidy up neatly and clean the centre for the next day. These small actions form the building blocks for independent, social world citizens. Parents experience convenience: a healthy after-school snack is always provided, extra care can be arranged by agreement and we take plenty of time for a personal chat at pick-up. This way you know exactly what your child has experienced and how they felt. At BSO Ravelijn it is all about fun, development and the feeling that your child walks in with a smile every single day.
