BSO Flierefluit

Welcome to BSO De Flierefluit, located at Postweg 187 in the heart of Nijmegen-Oost. We are a small-scale after-school care centre where children aged 4 to 12 can enjoy a warm, homely environment after school. Our team of permanent pedagogical staff welcomes every child with a genuine smile and makes sure each one feels at home right away. We focus on fun and development at each child’s own pace. Inspired by Christian values, we welcome families from all backgrounds. After arrival there is always time for a friendly chat and a healthy snack with a drink. Children then choose what they want to do: romp around in our spacious garden with football cage, get creative in the arts & crafts corner, help out in our vegetable garden, or simply relax with a book in the quiet corner. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention. They are specially trained to provide extra support to children who need it. We believe children develop best when they feel safe, so we create a familiar environment with always the same friendly faces. When a staff member is ill, we try to arrange a regular substitute wherever possible. BSO De Flierefluit is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:30, Wednesday from 12:30 to 18:30, and on Friday we even offer full-day care from 8:30 to 18:30. During school holidays we are open every day from 7:30 to 18:30. We pick up children on foot from primary schools in the immediate area.
