Fier

Fier is a small-scale after-school care (BSO+) located in Amsterdam-West at Van Walbeeckstraat 66. We provide after-school care for up to 10 children aged 4 to 12 years who have additional support needs. Our team of two pedagogical professionals offers a safe, homely environment every weekday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, where fun, attention and play are central. At Fier, we work with a fixed daily structure so children know what to expect and can relax after an intensive school day. Our location is stylishly and homely furnished, making children feel at home immediately. We believe in the power of small groups: with a maximum of 10 children per afternoon, we can give each child the individual attention they deserve. Our pedagogical professionals are specialized in guiding children with additional support needs. They receive continuous training in specific methodologies to empower each child. We work closely with parents, schools and other involved care providers to best meet a child's needs. Together we ensure that every child has a pleasant, carefree afternoon and goes home with a smile.
