BSO Ferwert Op Streek

BSO Ferwert Op Streek is a warm and safe after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12, located within primary school Op Streek at De Streek 4 in Ferwert. As part of Kids First Kinderopvang Noord-Nederland B.V., we provide care before and after school, on study days and during school holidays. We follow a bilingual policy, giving focused attention to both Dutch and Frisian, supported by the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO). Our pedagogical staff consciously respond to the changing needs of children as they progress through primary school. Playing together, building friendships and discovering boundaries are central themes. Older children are given space to independently explore the world and learn from new experiences. We offer a challenging environment where children can safely develop and be themselves. The location has recently been renovated and features a natural outdoor space that invites outdoor play. Thanks to our integral collaboration with primary school Op Streek, transitions are smooth and we know the children well.
