BSO Feanwâlden De Luchtballon

BSO De Luchtballon is located at Stinswei 5 in the heart of Feanwâlden and is part of the Kids First organization. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, both before and after school hours, on study days and during all school holidays. The location is a Binnenstebuiten (Inside-Out) location, which means we maximize the use of outdoor space and give children the freedom to play and explore in nature. Our pedagogical staff respond to the changing needs of children as they progress through primary school. We encourage playing together, forming friendships and discovering boundaries. Older children are given space to independently explore the world and learn from new experiences. We regularly organize excursions and outdoor activities, such as litter-picking campaigns in collaboration with the municipality of Dantumadiel. During these activities, children learn in a playful way about sustainability and the importance of a clean living environment.
