Welcome to Fantaziehuis Het Atelier, a stimulating and familiar place at Cartesiusweg 23 in Utrecht where children love to spend time after school. At this after-school care facility, art and culture take center stage. We provide an inspiring environment where children have the freedom to choose from a wide range of activities. Children can enjoy outdoor play, cooking, reading adventure books on the couch, or even creating their own theater performances. Our pedagogical staff connect with each child's world of experience and stimulate their creativity. We believe children continue to develop after school and may discover their talents. BSO Het Atelier has two groups: van Gogh and Vermeer. We are open Monday to Friday from 14:15 to 18:30. During school holidays and study days, we welcome children from 08:00 to 18:30. Each holiday has its own challenging theme with creative and sports activities, making every holiday a celebration together with the children. Our location accommodates up to 48 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since July 15, 2024, under number 207297782. We provide safe pickup service via GoCap, ensuring children are safely transported from school to after-school care. A typical afternoon starts with shared fruit and drinks, reviewing the school day and discussing the day's activity options. Children can participate in activities like cooking, music lessons, or sports, or choose free play in our cozy themed corners. Around 4:30 PM, we have another drink together and make time to finish activities before parents arrive for pickup.
