Welcome to Ewa's Childcare IV at Hoogkarspelstraat 68 in The Hague. Our after-school care (BSO) location is part of Ewa's Childcare and offers out-of-school care for up to 8 children aged 4 to 12. We are located beneath a senior housing complex on a quiet street, featuring our own enclosed outdoor playground and free parking until 18:00. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment after school. Each group has familiar faces, ensuring every child experiences consistency and trust. Every month we introduce a new theme that connects with the children’s world, incorporating creative, sporty and nature-based activities. Our activities are varied and challenging. We regularly go on excursions: we visit the library, take walks through the forest or to the petting zoo, play in the playground and organise events such as puppet shows. These outings are a fixed part of our programme and support the social and cultural development of the children. We operate extended opening hours from 05:00 to 18:00 and are flexible in swapping days or booking extra care. We are closed on official public holidays and once every five years on 5 May. On 5, 24 and 31 December we close at 17:00. Our BSO is easily reached by tram lines 2, 4 and 6 and is within walking distance of several schools in the neighbourhood. At Ewa's Childcare IV we believe it is important that children feel at home, can follow their own pace and enjoy everything they do. We provide a warm, safe place where they can play, discover and relax after a day at school.
