Eigenwijze Kinderopvang

BSO Park is part of Eigenwijze Kinderopvang and is located at the Antonius Abt Jenaplan Park school centre at Engelerpark 2 in Engelen. We provide after-school care for up to 86 children aged 4 to 12. Our pedagogical staff collect the children after school from Antonius Abt Jenaplan Park and nearby locations. Together we walk back to the BSO under supervision, where an active and varied programme awaits the children. Our approach is aimed at challenging and stimulating children. We work with four fixed main themes: sports and outdoor play, dance and expression, domestic activities and creative activities. The activities are tailored to the age and needs of the children. The youngest children (4-7 years) are in a fixed group at the Park location, while the older children (7-13 years) have their own place at the Sportpark location. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons all children come together at the Sportpark; we then walk together from Park to this location. Children can also stay here during holiday weeks, depending on the number of registrations. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Our supervisors are ready to share the parenting responsibility with parents, to encourage children to participate in the group process and to guide them on their way to independence. In this way we create a warm, challenging environment in which every child is given the space to grow in their own way.
