Eigenwijsjerijk After-School Care at Schoolstraat 5 in Winterswijk is the place where children aged 4 to 12 discover the world in their own way after school. We are a young, small-scale organisation with a homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe and at home. Our name says it all: we are innovative, fresh, cool, sparkling and above all very headstrong! We pick up children from all primary schools in Winterswijk and provide care until 6.30 pm. For the adjacent St. Joseph School, we also provide before-school care from 7.30 to 8.30 am. Our pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon with a healthy snack and a challenging range of activities. Children choose how to spend their free time: being active in sports, creative crafts, chatting or relaxing. On study days and school holidays, we provide care from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. Parents choose whether to take out an after-school care contract including or excluding holidays. We work with fixed groups so that children become familiar with each other and our supervisors. Our spacious garden and playgrounds invite outdoor play and discovery. Eigenwijsjerijk stands for quality that matches the development of each child and the wishes of parents.
