Eigen&Wijzer BSO De Blokkendoos

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer BSO De Blokkendoos, the place in Uithoorn where children aged 4 to 13 can play with friends after school. Our location at Johan Enschedeweg 160 accommodates up to 40 children and has been officially registered as an after-school care facility since August 21, 2014. We put the development of each child at the center of everything we do. We believe every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop themselves. Our permanent team of pedagogical professionals has been working together for years, providing children with a safe and challenging environment where they are optimally guided and stimulated. Our after-school care offers a rich variety of play materials. Children can engage in arts and crafts, play games, build, cook or bake - everything is possible! Together with the children, we organize an active program of activities where they learn to negotiate, listen to each other, and stand up for themselves. After a day in the classroom, children love to be outdoors in our challenging garden with plenty of space to play and discover. We work from our core values: loving care, child-centered approach, nature experience, development-oriented activities, and child participation.
