Eigen&Wijzer BSO Wereldkidz Tweesprong Fazantenkamp

We are WereldKidz Tweesprong-Fazantenkamp, an after-school care location of Eigen&Wijzer in Maarssen. From our home at Fazantenkamp 160 we welcome children aged 4 to 13 from primary school Tweesprong and also from Tweesprong-Duivenkamp. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, green and challenging environment where children can relax, play and discover after school. We believe that every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. Therefore we actively involve children in the activity programme; they take ownership and make choices together with us. In this way they learn to listen to each other, consult and reach compromises. This increases their self-confidence and ensures that every child gets a turn with an activity of their own choice. Sports, nature, culture and creative workshops are central. We use the spacious outdoor area around the school for nature experience and sports games. During study days and school holidays we work with our Holiday Madness programme: a festive offer full of challenging activities, fun outings and in-depth clinics. Think of adventurous scavenger hunts, sports clinics or creative projects with external partners. Parents enrol their child directly with us; we align our opening hours with school hours and also offer pre-school care where possible. Our goal is for children to be able to be who they are with us without worry, so that they go home with pleasure and new insights: every child is unique and grows wiser.
