Eigen&Wijzer BSO Sint Martinus

Eigen&Wijzer BSO Sint Martinus is a small-scale after-school care facility located within Dalton Kindcentrum Sint Martinus at Dominee L. Touwenlaan 3 in Makkum. We provide care for up to 12 children aged 4 to 13 years, 52 weeks per year. The BSO is part of the cooperative childcare organization Eigen&Wijzer, which has been providing passionate and joyful childcare in Friesland for over 30 years. Our location works closely with St. Martinusschool. After school, children can walk directly to the BSO area within the same building. Care takes place in the school building, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment. We offer both after-school care and care during study days and school holidays. Before-school care is also available from 7:00 AM. At Eigen&Wijzer BSO Sint Martinus, the child's freedom is central. After a shared moment with fruit and drinks, children can choose how they want to spend their time. We offer quiet corners for reading or games, as well as space to move around. Our immediate surroundings, with the characteristic Frisian nature and the IJsselmeer nearby, invite exploration and adventures. We regularly make use of the beautiful outdoor space and the opportunities the environment offers. As a parent, you will experience a warm, involved atmosphere with us. Our pedagogical staff know your child well and closely follow their development. We believe it is important that children feel safe and seen, so they enjoy coming to the BSO. Due to our small scale, we can truly give attention to each child and respond to individual needs.
