Doomijn BSO De Vecht

Welcome to BSO De Vecht, located at Kerkstraat 36 in the heart of Terwolde. We are part of Doomijn Childcare and share the building with Brede School Antonius. This means we are literally next to the school, so children can walk straight to us after the last bell rings. Our spacious group room radiates calm and cosiness, with a large table where we craft, chat and laugh together. Outside, an adventurous playground awaits with its own panna court, plenty of greenery and room to run, romp or simply be still for a moment. We believe the world outside is at least as educational as inside. That is why we regularly go on discovery tours in nature, children are allowed to get their knees muddy and we help each other when things get exciting. The older children naturally look after the younger ones; together we make everything more fun. Our pedagogical staff – Bianca, Manja and Yasmin – are ready every afternoon with a healthy snack and a listening ear. We offer a fixed structure: time to unwind, something tasty and then children choose how to spend their afternoon. Fancy joining a workshop, boot camp or 3D paint experiment? Great! Prefer a game of football or a book in the quiet corner? That is fine too. We organise new activities every week, often together with external guests, so there is always something to experience. BSO De Vecht is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:15. We work with horizontal groups, where children aged 4 to 12 play together. This setup encourages collaboration and ensures that every child can develop at their own level. Parents experience us as an extension of home: safe, involved and always in conversation about what the child needs.
