DONS Olympiaschool

DONS 4 at Olympiaschool is our after-school care location at Stadionkade 113B in Amsterdam-Zuid. Since February 2014 we have been providing care exclusively for the children of Olympiaschool, a public primary school that welcomes over 40 nationalities. Because we only serve this school, we work closely with teachers and parents. Our staff are passionate professionals: drama, visual arts, PE and music teachers, as well as qualified primary-school teachers. Children's development doesn't stop when school ends; it continues throughout their free time. Therefore we offer active, engaged care with a rich creative and expressive programme. Every day at 17:15 we hold a closing presentation by the children, and parents are warmly invited to attend. DONS 4 opens when school finishes and remains open until 18:30. On teacher-training days and during school holidays we open at 08:00. The children stay in their familiar, safe school environment with their own friends. We complement the school's curriculum by offering extra lessons during school hours: drama, music, movement, visual arts, or any bespoke support the school requests. We maintain short lines of communication with the class teachers to keep a clear view of each child's development. Registration is done online via our website. We use a single contract form that includes holiday and teacher-training days. Within a holiday period you may swap and bundle days.
