DONS Notenkraker

DONS Notenkraker is our after-school care location at the Openbare Kunstmagneetschool De Notenkraker on Theophile de Bockstraat 100-D in Amsterdam. Since 2011, we have been providing after-school care for children attending this primary school. We use the spaces within the school itself, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment after school hours. Our location accommodates up to 112 children. We are open Monday through Friday from 14:45 to 18:30. Starting September 2024, we are also open on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 onwards. During study days and school holidays, we provide care from 8:00 to 18:30. At DONS Notenkraker, we work with a team of qualified childcare professionals with various creative backgrounds. Our location manager Adèle leads the team consisting of Hanna, Sanne, Amber, Pien, Winja, Judith, Elodie, Danique, Sebastiaan, Krist, Anne E, Suus, Jeroen, Lex, Benjamin, Marith, and Anne H. Together we create a place where children can relax, play, and engage in creative activities after school. Our offerings are diverse: from visual arts and music to dance and sports. We align with the culture profile school where we are located, making art and creativity important elements in our activities. We exclusively serve children from primary school De Notenkraker, creating a close-knit community where children can meet each other outside school hours.
