Welcome to Dak Steenwijk After-School Care, located at Steenwijklaan 16 in The Hague. Our setting is part of DAK Kindercentra and is uniquely situated on the grounds of the korfball club Het Eibernest, making it a true sports paradise for children aged 4 to 7. At Dak Steenwijk, movement is key. Children can burn off energy on the korfball field, run, jump and take part in a wide range of sports and games. In addition to sports, there is plenty of room for creativity: building, crafting and imaginative play are on offer every day. We balance energetic outdoor activities with quieter moments indoors, so every child can unwind after school in his or her own way. Our enthusiastic childcare professionals provide a safe and stimulating environment. We work in small groups of up to 30 children, ensuring personal attention. The atmosphere is warm and inclusive; we regard parents and children as part of our after-school family. Dak Steenwijk offers care after school and during teacher training days. We collect children from nearby primary schools and provide a varied programme where fun, development and relaxation go hand in hand.
