BSO De Zonnewijzer

Welcome to BSO De Zonnewijzer, located on the grounds of Primary School De Zonnewijzer Noord at Molenweg 53 in Diepenveen. Since January 2019 we provide before-school care from 7:30 to 8:30 AM and after-school care from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Our out-of-school care is a place where children aged 4 to 12 feel safe and challenged. We work with three age-based groups: a lower-year group (max. 17 children), a middle-year group (max. 22 children) and an upper-year group (max. 21 children). This keeps the environment familiar and gives every child the space that suits his or her development. Our offer is diverse and connects to what the school offers during the day. Think of creative workshops, sports activities and collaboration projects. Every Tuesday afternoon a specialist teacher from Sportbedrijf Deventer provides our Sports BSO: an hour of exercise, play and discovery. In addition, we work with an atelier in Diepenveen, so that children also get acquainted with visual arts and technology. The children choose for themselves what they participate in; freedom and personal initiative are central. We believe it is important that children feel at home. That is why we work with fixed base groups and fixed pedagogical staff. The children see familiar faces every day and thus build a trusted bond. We also keep parents informed of the daily routine through the Parro app. BSO De Zonnewijzer is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Varietas and has room for 66 children per day.
