De Wijngaard

Kindcentrum De Wijngaard is located at Kraggelaan 6 in the centre of Zwartsluis. Under the umbrella of foundation PCO Accrete we have been offering Christian primary education and childcare under one roof for more than 25 years. Our after-school care (BSO) welcomes children aged 4 to 12 who have already started primary school. We are open 52 weeks a year from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., so parents with irregular or part-time schedules can always rely on us. Our qualified staff pick the children up directly from the school playground after classes. We work with fixed groups in a homelike horizontal set-up; children sit with peers but can also share experiences with younger or older children. The BSO area features a spacious playroom, a challenging outdoor playground and direct access to the green schoolyard. Sports, nature and music are central to our activity programme. Weekly music lessons in cooperation with JMV Music & Education, lots of movement during Kanjer training and regular discovery trips in the surroundings are part of the weekly routine. We communicate quickly and safely with parents via the Parro app. Every two weeks the digital newsletter ‘Uit ’t Biezenmandje’ appears with photos, reports and practical information. Parental involvement is important to us: we invite parents to expectation talks, contact weeks and activity committees. Together we look for the best for each child. Because we are part of Kindcentrum De Wijngaard we already know the children from their very first school day; this makes the transition to BSO smooth and familiar.
