BSO De Wielen Galamastins

BSO De Wielen Galamastins is part of Integral Child Centre De Wielen, located at Galamastins 2 in Leeuwarden. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, aligned with the school hours of the primary school located on the same premises. Our setting is small-scale and safely designed so that children quickly feel at home. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in their free time with activities that match their interests and developmental level. We offer both rest and structure after a busy school day, as well as space for relaxation and play. Outdoor play is an important part of our programme; we have a spacious, green outdoor area where children can move and explore. We work closely with the public primary school De Wielen, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Parents can pick up their children whenever it suits them, until 6:30 PM. During holidays and teacher training days, care is also provided, with an extended range of activities. Our core values are safety, trust and enjoyment. We see every child as unique and offer room for individual choices within clear boundaries. Contact with parents is important to us; we keep them informed through a parent app and are always available for questions or consultation.
