De Wensboom

Kindcentrum De Wensboom is located at Stockholm 5 in Schiedam and is part of KomKids, an organization with over 25 years of experience in childcare in the Schiedam-Vlaardingen region. Our location offers after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. We operate with three base groups accommodating up to 63 children per day, supervised by 6 pedagogical professionals. Having fun is central to our approach. After school, children have the freedom to choose their own activities. We offer various activities designed to stimulate children to discover new things. Activities are tailored to the children's interests and can range from group games to individual pursuits such as reading, drawing, or crafting. Our location features multiple spaces that are designed to be challenging and multifunctional. These meeting areas are intended to bring children from different groups together to interact and play. Additionally, we have an enclosed nature garden where younger children can enjoy outdoor play and explore the world. Older children make use of the spacious school playgrounds for outdoor activities. We work closely with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop optimally.
