Kindercentrum de Waaghals

BSO De Waaghals is a challenging after-school care facility located in the center of Oegstgeest. We are housed in a former bank building at Lijtweg 15, where we have created an adventurous space for up to 72 children. Our location features a unique 8+ creative space called Kunst & Kolder, where children can participate in workshops every Wednesday afternoon. Here they create cool wristbands from old ties, dream catchers, mosaic trays, and decorated tennis balls. We have a large kitchen where children can cook and bake, and a real book cave where they can relax and read. The former bank vault has been transformed into a music room where children can play guitar and drums. Outside, we have a green adventurous playground with wild greenery, where we work together with the children and a gardener to create gardens at the back of the property. During holidays, we take the children to our Cabin on recreational island Koudenhoorn in Warmond. We also offer a transportation service: if your child has a sports training or hobby in Oegstgeest on an after-school care day, we provide free transportation with our own SKO bus. Our drivers safely bring and pick up your child from their training and back to the childcare center.
