De Vuurtoren

BSO De Vuurtoren is located in a characteristic building from 1904 at Graafsedwarsstraat 10 in the heart of Nijmegen. We provide small-scale after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, both before and after school hours and during all school holidays. Our 'living room model' creates a homely, warm and safe atmosphere where children feel at home. We work community-based and maintain close collaborations with schools in the area. Our pedagogical staff pick up children by foot or bicycle from school and safely return them after school. Free time is play time: time where children's own initiative takes center stage. Children can unwind from their school day, play with peers, engage in creative activities or simply relax. Our location is furnished with warm colors and homely elements that invite play and relaxation. We have various spaces where children can retreat or be together. During holidays, we offer a varied program with fun activities and excursions in the region. As the first private after-school care in Nijmegen, we are known for our personal approach and community involvement. We sponsor local activities and actively participate in neighborhood initiatives. Our door is always open for interested families.
