BSO De Vrijbuiter

BSO De Vrijbuiter is located at De Wielstraat 8 in Beusichem, on the grounds of football club BZS. During school weeks we provide after-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Most children come from the neighbouring Prins Willem Alexander School and are picked up by our qualified pedagogical staff. We work with two base groups so every child receives the attention that suits them. Thanks to the large sports fields of the football club and the gym of the school, children can move and play every afternoon. After school we start with a shared moment at the table: we enjoy fruit and drinks together and discuss the plan for the afternoon. This fixed rhythm creates calm and predictability. Fixed rituals, rhythm and clear rules are central. Together with the children we have agreed on respect, playing together and taking turns. This makes every child feel safe and confident to explore. We offer a varied programme with sports and games, arts and crafts with different materials and outdoor play. Children’s own ideas are taken seriously and developed, so they feel heard and valued. During school holidays we organise holiday care at our main location in Rijswijk, so parents can continue to rely on us. There is no before-school care at this location.
