De Vrijbuiter

BSO De Vrijbuiter is located at Acacialaan 12 in Emmeloord and is part of Jokidé childcare. We are the after-school care facility for primary-school children from the neighbourhood and beyond. As soon as school ends the children walk, cycle or ride our minibus to our site. We start the afternoon with a shared lunch, after which every child is free to choose what to do. Our spacious garden is a true playground. There is a panna cage for football, a large sandpit for building castles, swings for soaring high and go-karts for cool laps. Creative children will find materials ready for mosaic work, fret-sawing, handicrafts or crafting. The choice is huge every day. We work in small groups so our pedagogical staff have time to build a real bond with every child. We believe it is important that children feel safe and seen here. That is why we take the time to listen, join in the games and have fun together. After a busy school day, De Vrijbuiter is the place to relax, make new friends and burn off energy.
