BSO De Vossen

BSO De Vossen is located in the multifunctional centre De Zuides at Korteweg 2 in Sellingen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend CBS Het Gebint or OBS op d’Esch. The group is set up according to the children’s world, interests and talents. Spontaneous activities focusing on creativity and imagination take place in a homely and cosy environment. Our site borders directly on the beautiful nature reserve of Sellingen. The nearby forest offers plenty of opportunities for building dens, bird watching and discovering nature. Children spend a lot of time outdoors and are allowed to get dirty. Everything revolves around what nature has to offer and what we can do with it. We work with a fixed base group of up to 22 children, each assigned a personal mentor. The mentor is the regular contact for child and parents and discusses the child’s development with parents when desired. BSO De Vossen is part of Stichting Kinderopvang KiWi. Since 1988, KiWi has been providing childcare in East Groningen where every child feels: 'I am me and that is okay'. We work in a child-centred way, give personal attention and take time for each child. This gives every child the space to discover and develop their own possibilities.
