BSO de Vos

BSO De Vos is a welcoming meeting place for children from Hagestein and Hoef en Haag. Located in the same building as primary school Meester Vos, we ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our location accommodates up to 74 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since August 17, 2015. Inside, we operate with three groups in cozy spaces shared with the school. Children can explore different corners: a quiet reading area with cushions and books, a construction zone with LEGO and building materials, and an arts & crafts corner where creativity knows no bounds. The interior is warm and inviting, designed with attention to detail and child-friendly materials. Our outdoor playground is spacious and situated in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the polder. We have play equipment suitable for both younger and older children, a football field, and plenty of room to run and play. Children aged 7-8 and above can sign a 'play contract' allowing them to play outside independently and take responsibility for their own activities. We offer a diverse and challenging range of activities. Children can choose from options focusing on arts and culture, sports and movement, adventure, or DigiKids. We create art projects, conduct scientific experiments, play games, and organize sports challenges. For quieter moments, we have 'chill afternoons' where children can watch a movie together on bean bags and cushions. As part of Dichtbij childcare, we provide professional, community-based after-school care close to home. Our qualified pedagogical staff safely pick up children from school and offer them a familiar place where they can develop in a safe environment. We work closely with parents and the school to ensure our care perfectly meets each child's needs.
