Kindcentrum De Vonder

Welcome to BSO De Vonder, located at Veenstraat 2 in the centre of Slagharen. We are part of Welluswijs childcare and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our premises are designed to make children feel at home right away: colourful, safe and full of challenges. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. For parents who start early we offer before-school care (VSO) from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m.; on Wednesday and Friday only on request. Flexibility is one of our core values: whenever there is sufficient demand we always look for a suitable solution. Our team believes that children flourish best in a familiar environment with familiar faces. Therefore we work with a fixed pedagogical team that is ready every day with personal attention. We use the DoenKids programme, a database full of activities that we tailor to the children’s interests. One day might be a sports and games afternoon, while the next we are busy being creative with crafts or building huts in our own garden. Co-operation with the primary schools in the area is a matter of course for us. We pick up the children from De Vonder and other schools in Slagharen and ensure a warm hand-over between school and childcare. Parents receive a daily message with a photo or short report via our parent app, so you can still feel part of the day.
