De VolksTuin

De VolksTuin is our after-school care location at Schiedamsedijk 8 in Schiedam. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Our site is unique: we are part of an allotment garden complex, so every day the children play and learn in a green environment. They can grow their own vegetables and flowers, study insects and enjoy the fresh air. We work with fixed age-based groups, ensuring each child enjoys activities suited to their development. After school the children come to us for a drink and can join in activities or invent their own games in our spacious garden. We serve all children in the neighbourhood and cooperate with nearby primary schools.
