BSO de Verrekijker

BSO de Verrekijker is part of Flow Kinderopvang and is located on the grounds of primary school De Verrekijker at De Gyselaar 80 in Amstenrade. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 on weekdays after school, on teacher training days and during all school holidays. Our location has 30 regular places and is within walking distance of the classrooms, so children can move safely and quickly from school to the after-school care. At BSO de Verrekijker, play and discovery are central. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff who every day provide a varied programme of activities tailored to the age and interests of the children. The spacious outdoor area around the school invites running, climbing and sports and games activities. Indoors we have a large hall with creative corners, a kitchen for cooking and baking projects and quiet areas where children can relax or do homework. During the holidays the BSO turns into ‘BSO Wonderwijs’. We then organise theme weeks, trips to playgrounds, sports clubs and cultural venues in the region. Parents can opt for a holiday card that allows extra holiday days to be scheduled flexibly. Full day care is also always available on Wednesday afternoons and on teacher training days from 07:30 to 18:30. Our pedagogical vision is in line with that of Flow Kinderopvang: we provide a safe, challenging environment in which children make their own choices and learn to work together. We work closely with primary school De Verrekijker and coordinate holiday schedules and pick-up times.
