De Veldmuis

Welcome to BSO De Veldmuis, our cheerful after-school care in the Veldhuizen neighborhood of De Meern. We are part of gro-up and provide care for children aged 4 to 7 after school hours and during holidays. Children choose their own activities in our bright group space featuring various play corners: a construction corner, reading corner, home corner, Barbie corner and crafts corner. We even have a synthesizer for children to give concerts to their friends. Our playground adjoins the group space and we go outside practically every day. We have hoops, balls, stilts and jump ropes. In our spacious sandbox children can enjoy playing with mud. We even have a vegetable garden where children care for plants themselves. Rain doesn't stop us - we play in our Natural Outdoor Play garden. We regularly make trips. The BSO is within walking distance of a shopping center where we do groceries. We also visit playgrounds and supermarkets. During holidays we organize themed activities. Under guidance of our pedagogical staff we visit museums and the library. We collaborate with primary schools Pantarijn, Het Veldhuis, De Krullevaar and Shri Krishna. Children turning 7 move to BSO Villa Veldmuis, but join us during holidays and study days.
