BSO De Uilenboom

BSO De Uilenboom is part of IKC St. Henricus, located at Jhr. M.W.C. de Jongestraat 26 in Klazienaveen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years. Our location has a capacity of 66 childcare places and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since October 5, 2012. Our BSO is for children aged 4 to 13 and takes place before and after school. The emphasis of our care is on relaxation. After all, children already go to school all day. As soon as the children arrive at the BSO, they have all the time to play with peers, undertake an activity independently, or simply rest. We have one BSO group on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and two groups on Tuesday and Thursday. During quiet moments, the BSO joins together with the daycare center. We also provide BSO during holidays and study days. During holidays, our BSO joins together with the BSO of Pastoor Middelkoop in Klazienaveen. The holiday care takes place at our location. Our permanent staff at the BSO are: Loes, Robine, and Danique. Of course, fun activities are also offered at the BSO. In a relaxed manner, we pay a lot of attention to sports, games, but also creative subjects such as cooking. We do this using the Doenkids program. These cover the entire field of child development and are aimed at all age stages. We work according to the guidelines of healthy childcare. This means that we consciously deal with nutrition, exercise, and nature. Because the earlier children learn healthy behavior, the better it is. They will benefit from it for the rest of their lives. We are also affiliated with Bewegen met Nijntje. A movement program from the KNGU that allows young children to move playfully in a varied way. Our opening hours are: before school Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, after school until 6:00 PM, during study and margin days from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and during school holidays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are open 52 weeks a year, excluding official holidays.
