BSO de Tornado

BSO de Tornado has been open since October 1, 2021 and is located in the annex of PCB de Parel at Hoensbroeksingel 15 in Rotterdam Beverwaard. We are an after-school care facility specifically designed for the oldest BSO children aged 8 to 12. Our location accommodates up to 16 children and is tailored to the needs of this age group. At Tornado, we strive to give children their own space where they decide how the afternoon unfolds. The children have a major say in choosing activities and using the group space. Our pedagogical staff regularly engage in conversations with the children about the care and how they would like it to be. This freedom creates a relaxed, cozy and informal atmosphere where nothing is mandatory and (almost) anything goes. We have a wide range of play materials and a cozy, well-maintained group space. Additionally, we use the beautiful and spacious playground of the Parel for outdoor play. With Stormpolder just a stone's throw away, we also love to use the playground. We pick up children from PCB de Parel, RK de Regenboog and OBS de Barkentijn. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
