BSO De Toffe Peer

Welcome to BSO De Toffe Peer, located at Forum 3 in the heart of Elst. We are part of SKAR, a trusted organization with over 85 years of experience in childcare and education in the region. Our location offers a homely and safe place where children aged 4 to 12 can relax, play, and discover after school. Our team consists of enthusiastic, committed, and well-trained pedagogical staff who are passionate about caring for the children every day. We take the time to truly see each child and provide personal attention so that every child feels seen and valued. We believe that children develop best when they feel safe and free to be who they are. BSO De Toffe Peer is housed in De Zon Community School, which allows us to have a direct and warm collaboration with De Zonnepoort primary school and other schools in the building. After school, children can come straight to us; we pick them up from their classroom and bring them to our spacious, bright group room. Here they can choose from various activities such as crafts, games, building, reading, or simply free play. We offer a varied program of activities that aligns with the children's world and challenges them to discover new things. Our location has a capacity of up to 33 children, allowing us to provide a pleasant, manageable group where everyone knows each other. We work from a clear pedagogical compass focused on the broad development of the child. We encourage independence, social skills, and creativity. Additionally, we provide space for rest and relaxation after a busy school day. Parents can come to us for before-school care (VSO) and after-school care (NSO).
