BSO De Terebint

Welcome to BSO De Terebint, located within De Terebint primary school at Rederijkershoeve 19 in Apeldoorn. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar, homely environment. Our spacious, specially designed BSO space is situated on the cozy attic floor of the school and feels like a large living room where every child can feel at home. Children choose their own activities at our BSO. We have various play corners equipped with materials aligned to different developmental areas: from construction materials and a reading corner to a home corner for role-play. Crafting, making music, drama, movement, re-enacting stories, flower arranging, jigsaw puzzles or ceramics - everything is possible and allowed. Outside, there's plenty of space to play on our large playground, where we can be found almost every day. Our activity program is varied and seasonal. We take holidays and the different ages of the children into account. Group activities are scheduled daily, but participation is always voluntary. For older children, there's a special 8+ corner where they can retreat or engage in age-appropriate activities. During holidays and study days, we organize an extensive vacation program with fun outings and activities. We work closely with De Terebint primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from their groups after school and provide a fun afternoon with food and drinks, always prioritizing the children's enjoyment and satisfaction.
