BSO De Steltloper

BSO De Steltloper is part of SKDD and is located at Akkerweg 40b in Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Our after-school care is housed in dedicated spaces adjacent to the primary school classrooms, making it a familiar place for children. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 years in two core groups: BSO Eigen (4-6 years) and BSO Wijs (7-13 years). At BSO De Steltloper, the child is at the center of everything we do. We offer a challenging and varied activity program where children have the freedom to choose whether to participate in activities or engage in free play. Our pedagogical staff organize a new theme each month with appropriate activities. Sports and games are important pillars in our offerings. We have a partnership agreement with Football Club De Wilper Boys and offer sports and games activities on the football field on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition to sports, we also offer creative activities such as arts and crafts and cooking, musical activities and nature education. Children can read a book, participate in group games or work out their own ideas. We believe that children develop their personality and talents in their 'own way'. Our care services include before-school care (7:00-8:30 AM), after-school care (2:00-6:00 PM), Wednesday and Friday afternoon care (12:00-6:00 PM), holiday care (7:00 AM-6:00 PM) and flexible care. We work with permanent staff per core group who know the children well and guide them in their development towards independence.
